Like I said, you are Ben - you read what you want to and then make false statements. Well, maybe that's Slow... the Ben thing was too harsh for anyone anyways.“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. You guys should give Mary Doria Russell's "The Sparrow" a read...all about first contact and misunderstanding, as well as a strong examination of faith by the protagonist, a Jesuit priest.
I'm sure I will go see Ender's Game and like it...but it will fall short like most Hollywood adaptations.
Would love to see movies made of Heinlein's Tunnel In The Sky (if they can modernize some of the awkward gender bias) and The Left Hand Of Darkness, if they could handle the incredibly modern gender themes.Life and death is a grave matter;

You need everything spelled out for you, don't you
The original trilogy > prequel trilogy
And ESB is the best flick (obviously).“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

The only thing I can possibly think of is that I thought that Revenge of the Sith was actually very good and rate it the equal of Return of the Jedi (****ing Ewoks). I wasn't as down on Attack of the Clones as most people (though it was pretty below average - at least the love scenes), but The Phantom Menace was just bad.
Interestingly (I just checked Rotten Tomatoes):
It has been three years since the Clone Wars began. Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor) and Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker (Hayden Christensen) rescue Chancellor Palpatine (Ian McDiarmid) from General Grievous, the commander of the droid armies, but Grievous escapes. Suspicions are raised within the Jedi Council concerning Chancellor Palpatine, with whom Anakin has formed a bond. Asked to spy on the chancellor, and full of bitterness toward the Jedi Council, Anakin embraces the Dark Side.
III - 80%
Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) battles horrible Jabba the Hut and cruel Darth Vader to save his comrades in the Rebel Alliance and triumph over the Galactic Empire. Han Solo (Harrison Ford) and Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher) reaffirm their love and team with Chewbacca, Lando Calrissian (Billy Dee Williams), the Ewoks and the androids C-3PO and R2-D2 to aid in the disruption of the Dark Side and the defeat of the evil emperor.

As for your accusation that I am like Ben....If there is no sound in space, how come you can hear the lasers?

I would have to agree. The "acting" in the prequels was generally so bad it was hard not to assume they were taking the piss...and it distracted from the rest of the film. There were certainly golden moments and characters, but when your central character is a prat and a tool at ANY age in the prequels, and his friend/ girlfriend/wife is carved from wood, it's pretty hopeless. Neeson isn't even that great here...Life and death is a grave matter;

"The Sparrow" was really amazing, I heartily agree. The sequel was also solid ("Children of God"), though not nearly as spectacular as Sparrow.<Reverend> IRC is just multiplayer notepad.

Yes! That first book was like Coleridge's Kubla Khan...must have been written in some sort of fever-dream state...might be able to break it into parts for a movie treatment to do it justice, but I fear it wouldn't work at all...too much psychological drama to properly convey on screen.
And one can hope that SOMEBODY SOMEWHERE can properly translate Farmer's incredible Riverworld books to the screen. The attempts so far have been stunningly awful.Life and death is a grave matter;

Riverworld seems like it should translate easily, but just doesn't. Too much going on, I suspect. You'd have to do more like a miniseries or something, with a big budget.<Reverend> IRC is just multiplayer notepad.
