There are two versions of this movie. One for the Chinese and one for the.....uhm!.....other people.
I saw the version for.......the other people.
I was bored watching this movie!!!!! It's not a bad movie, good story, good acting, I was just bored.
This will be hard for me to explain so just bare with me.
I felt like I've seen this movie before in many other movies. The special effects are getting boring. It is starting to look so fake because you know it was made in a computer. There is no surprise with special effects anymore. I can't quite put my finger on it.
The things that are done just don't seem plausible. Reality is broken by these computer stunts and takes the fun out of watching.
Maybe I'm just getting too old for these types of movies?
I do recommend it.
I'm just confused about the way I feel about this movie.

Does the Chinese version have the Mandarin played by an Asian actor instead of the British one the rest of us get?

Modern use of CGI ruins movies. It was fun at first when it was used within the context of a good movie... like the T-1000 in Terminator 2. But now the whole movie is pretty much shot in front of a green screen. It's lazy. It sucks. But the herpderps keep buying tickets. So it's not likely this horrible **** will go away any time soon.

So true. The T-1000 in Terminator 2 blew me away. I had to watch it 3 times just for the effects.
