Last night was lobster tagliatelle in a tomato cream sauce accompanied by a cucumber gin cocktail, mahi mahi ceviche and finished with a flourless chocolate cake. Served on the sand at a St Barth beach. Tonight will apparently be wild, as the dinner comes with a cabaret show.

Lunch today was a mozzarella, tomato, basil panini and a Carib lager at a low-key gustavia crepe shop. Not particularly exciting, but a pretty good apres scuba snack.

Last night my dinner was a jar of applesauce.

Like a whole jar. A big jar.

              And nothing else.

That's what happens when you get a job. You don't have to eat mac n cheese any more.

It's not a lack of money. I don't eat it because it is cheap. I eat it because it doesn't take long to prepare.

One time I chugged a jar of applesauce on a dare. Felt fine. My group went for a walk. I puked all over someone's pile of raked leaves. My friend held my hair back. We joked that this is what college would be like if we went to the same one. What a great memory. I hope you had yours at a steady pace.

Fishcakes with red chilli dip, satay chicken & gado gado, steamed dumplings, prawn crackers, red duck curry and a belt-loosening.... a thank you and farewell Thai dinner from my friend who's off to Bergen (I'm flat sitting and looking after her 8 cats....) .

Lamb roast crusted with cashews and served with mint jelly, with roasted vegetables (asparagus, sweet potato, parsnip, red and yellow peppers, onions, and carrots) on the side.

I read this thread and keep expecting an "M&S" tagline.

I'm not sure yet but I need to be good and eat something healthy. Probably a salad and a chicken breast.
