The nerd gushing over TWD was really pathetic. It wasn't even a game so much as a noninteractive cartoon. Take away its license and no one notices it. It really says something when the best character is a dumb eight year old girl who acts like a dumb eight year old girl.
Bioshock could stand toe to toe with movies like Looper.

I think the game is going to flip those around.
Actually... great example for comparison... massively overrated game.
The first one was better.
This is almost the same... only a steampunky cloud city with too much bloom effect.
oh, and cosplay fodder for the comicon crowd
To us, it is the BEAST.

It is a very enjoyable game. I strongly recommend it. And the ending makes sense, in its own way. But... jumpin' jesus ****balls, it also makes no sense whatsoever.
It might make more sense on a second go around, but... I have my doubts. And motion sickness."My nation is the world, and my religion is to do good." --Thomas Paine

The ending works. I've thought about it a lot since I finished (a rare thing for games in itself) and have been going over a bunch of theories. Some of them are really interesting. There are no glaring plot holes or logic problems with it, and the ending makes sense of everything that happens before -- including the vigors Guynemer complained about, and the dialogue that is confusing on the first playthrough. You will notice a ton of things you missed the first time around if you replay.
It's not a cheap ending, or one single "aha!" moment like in Bioshock 1. It's more gradual, and there's more hints throughout. And unlike Bioshock 1, the last 30 minutes are the best part.
