Do you mean the slope of the lot? If so, yes, it's a walk-out basement so it's quite a slope.

My parents have a walkout with a similar lot and have never had a problem, also with rundlestone.
Very little snow/rain accumulates between the houses -- especially right up against the foundation which is protected by overhangs."The issue is there are still many people out there that use religion as a crutch for bigotry and hate. Like Ben."

You've done a good job with a tiny space. A bit more paving stones than I'd want but it does make the most of what space is available.Try http://wordforge.net/index.php for discussion and debate.

What type of pine is that in the backyard? I know some pine trees get rather bushy as they grow and end up taken over small planters. Also, in the front yard, is that tree with the drooping branches just in shock or is it supposed to look like that?Try http://wordforge.net/index.php for discussion and debate.

The tree with the drooping branches in the front is a Royal Beauty Weeping Crabapple. It's supposed to look like that. It'll start growing wider soon, though.

Shaping up nicely, Asher.
But I'd be remiss if I didn't point out that the Royal Beauty Weeping Crabapple is a totally gay tree.Apolyton's Grim Reaper 2008, 2010 & 2011

That's a lot of flowers on that crabapple tree. The bees will no doubt thank you.
BTW I have paving stones in my patio too but I'm always spraying round up to kill the weeds which pop up between the paving stones then hand pulling the dead weeds out. Is there some trick the pavers use to stop this or is it, as I suspect, just the required maintenance? I have sand between the paving stones and it looks like you do too.Try http://wordforge.net/index.php for discussion and debate.
