This is sick, and demonstrates the sickening nature of murder in later term pregnancies.

This guy is the pro-choice version of an abortion clinic bomber: clearly an idiot, and a great strawman for the other side to use against their argument.

Personally, I think DD deserves the death penalty for starting this thread, btw.

Killing a baby after it's born goes very near the top on my "horrible things" list.

It sounds like Dr. Kermit Gosnell may be a psychopath.
You base your moral standards on what's legal? What would you have done under the Fugitive Slave Act? Maybe you should think for a moment about how developed a fetus's nervous system is at 30 weeks, or even 24. This man wasn't performing medically necessary abortions, but was instead taking money to cause suffering and death to another human being. Even if everything he'd done had been legal, he'd still have to be a psychopath to live with himself.
          John Brown did nothing wrong.

Then you seriously need to rethink your priorities for what is horrible. There's little biological difference between late term and born. Killing a baby is certainly horrible... but that's because it has parent(s) that intend to love and care for it. Otherwise, it's only horrible in more of a "all life is sacred" type deal... which is admirable and a worthy set of ideals to live up to, but highly impractical considering the vast amount of human suffering in the world.

Nobody likes the thought of choosing between two evils because both choices are evil. Pragmatic people need to make tough choices. If you can't handle the thought, by all means, take up some sort of pet cause to help yourself sleep better at night.

Otherwise, you are just a naive idiot.
To us, it is the BEAST.

Legality was not the only part of this that I have a problem with. Morally, as I've said above, killing a baby after it's born is a heinous act.

I'm against late-term abortion as well, except in cases where the mother's life is in danger.

Birth is an arbitrary milestone in the development of a human being useful for establishing public policy... but absolutely a retarded notion with regards to morality.

To clear things up, this is where I stand in regard to abortion.

cases I support early-term abortion: rape, incest, poverty, teen pregnancy, severe abnormality/disorder of fetus, endangerment of life of pregnant woman

cases I support late-term abortion: endangerment of life of pregnant woman
