Assuming they will in any significant measure. The Iranian leadership doesn't want to up the ante any more than they can afford - so they'll provoke and play games and propagandize, but the last thing they want is a full-on war with the US. These things get contained. Iraq and the 'stan are different, because the explicit goal of each was regime change, so the leaders had no incentive to go.
The Iranians also know that virtually everyone else in the gulf hates their guts, so the last thing they'd want, after their last butt-buddy falls in Damascus, is to have their military so seriously degraded they're a threat to nobody. The regime wants to stay in place, against both internal and external pressures.
Part of the whole AIPAC thing (and Bibi works it) is we get some behind the scenes leverage - look, I'm trying to make a deal here, but I don't know how much longer I can restrain that crazy Zionist...
And Bibi plays the chest thumping, saber rattling game to try to manipulate the US as well. So far, we're still well into the high theater stage of things.
