          Not really. Even if they had the self-awareness or the specific desire, how exactly would a whale or dog commit suicide? They don't have the physiological adaptation to manipulate tools that would enable them to carry out the act.

                              I did not know that but Dolphins are extremely intelligent. Did you see the video on the BBC's website of the dolphin caught in discarded fishing line "asking for help" from a human diver. The behavior it displayed with remarkable.
