True, concealed or not. That's why they aren't comparable - you are allowed to carry a concealed weapon, but a driving license doesn't allow you to drive a concealed car.

Considering their long-term results, yes. And they started their fight with UN peacekeeping and humanitarian forces, the US stepped in with a heavy footprint (UNITAF) and they went to boonies, then came back after the transition from UNITAF to UNISOM II.

For all of you making a car analogy, you only need to register your car and get a license to drive it and so forth in order to use it on public roads. You can drive it to your heart's content on your own property without a license (at least in most states, perhaps not all).
