No, it is not. Not even remotely. Name the industry and there will be almost an order of magnitude more employment in it in the north. A higher growth rate just signifies the lower starting base especially because the north's larger starting base is SO BIG in most industries that even at a lower growth rate they're still adding more to employment and output in absolute terms. You fail math again, freshman.

If you'd like I go over the numbers for car manufacturing and employment; an industry where the south is supposedly doing so well in according to the right wing media. Or if you want to get more general we can compare total manufacturing output and employment. Here's a hint: the south not only sucks but it is actually falling further behind in value of output even though it has a higher growth rate because the differences in the base as so massive.

Yes, I do remember that. There were times when I even fantasized about moving to Canada and get citizenship there during Bush's presidency, because I'd be treated as an equal citizen, rather than as a second-class citizen. But again, it was mere fantasy; didn't make any plans to do so.
