  • I don't ever recall attempting to earn your approval Asher. Nor do I ever recall trying to win a popularity contest on here. This is Apolyton OT, a never ending contest to see who can be the biggest dick. I like to be the best at anything I do.

    • I cannot be assed to read all the thread so this may have been covered .

No the republicans are not " done" . While OBama's win is convincing in some respect, Mitt still scored very close to half of all voters after running a gaffe filled campaign. He never came across as a particularly strong candidate.

Plus the Republicans held the house. Save the eulogy for now. The demographics are what they are and they have work to do in broadening their base but they are not done

Why did you post your resume?

Which Republican voters and leaders who happen to be white, male and straight, will never do, because the work they should be doing, is to reach out to racial minority groups, more women, and gay people.
A lot of Republicans are not racist, but a lot of racists are Republican.

                • When have I whined about how hard my life has been? I only said I sacrificed a lot to get where I'm at and I don't want to be equalized with the likes of you and gribbler. You can call me a hypocrite all you want, but you haven't presented anything to show that I've contradicted myself on something. You're a waste of life.

                  • What if you would have worked even harder and still been a peon? And someone else was lazy and got everything they wanted?

                    • Then that would be life. Not everyone's a winner. The better question is what is the probability that under a communist system there would be more lazy people at the same level as hard workers. The answer to that is obvious. Why anyone in this day and age still rails against the free market and capitalism is beyond me. You would think enough communist countries have fallen to have disproven the idea of redistribution and equality of outcome. More than anything I fear a system where I don't feel there is any opportunity to move up and where no matter how hard I work I will remain in one spot. Life at that point becomes completely pointless. It would mean the end of my existence. I'd rather fail on my own merits than live in a system where the ceiling is only as high as the lowest common denominator.

Whining about your back. Whining about how the government isn't treating you right. Whining about how hard your life as a tennis instructor who played a profuse amount of video games was. Whining about how the game isn't set up to give you some "i win" button and thus isn't worth your time.

Basically everything you do on this forum is whine and try to paint your life as much more difficult than it obviously is.

Yes, because that would mean you'd have to stop making excuses for your failures in every one of your posts.

Communism is a form of redistribution that obviously failed. Just as obviously there are forms of redistribution that have had positive impacts.

Believe it or not the company I work for is very much like communist. They don't reward hard work, only the ass kissers. So I'm with you on that. But I think there is a middle ground that is better.

Wow, now you're not even trying to back up anything you say. I've been on here a long time, longer than you, and I can promise you those years weren't spent whining about any of those things, nor have I whined in this thread. Whining would be starting a MrFun thread. I'm extremely thankful that I didn't end up a worthless piece of **** like you living in obscurity but still managing to make his opinion known on an internet forum.

What failure? I'll probably be making close to six figures within the next few years. Hardly failure. You can say I failed in starting a business, ok, but that's the risk you take. I learned a lot from doing it. The only other failure you could talk about is that I got stuck in tennis too long and didn't jump into something else fast enough. I'm not sure that a guy like you can talk about failure though. You're the very definition of it.
