A lot of the cooler looking bullpup rifles probably aren't legal for civilians to own... or maybe they cost a lot.

Triggers are really, really ****ty. The main advantage of a Bullpup, the size, is negated by the restrictions in place with the NFA regarding SBRs. In addition, most Bullpups are proprietary, making them expensive, while AR and AK platform stuff is open source less expensive.

For that M-14 conversion it's kinda silly to make a gun that uses a caliber intended for long distances(.308) in a design intended for house clearing. I'd add that for the money you would drop on a M-14 + juggernaut chassis you could have spent it on a SCAR or something(or a NM M-14 with glorious walnut stock).

Also they ugly.

Speaking of, I'm selling one of my devices that converts money into smoke. It's a handgun that hasn't seen much shooting since I got my G19.

I put it up for sale on a certain site that shall not be named last night, and to my satisfaction I got 3 pings since then.

Every single one of them began with accepting my asking price at face value and then after some negotiation on time/place..."okay, I'm going to be driving down from NJ(or NY), that's okay, right?". Since I don't particularly want to go to prison, I've had to ultimately say "sorry, no can do" to all three.

The NYPD's stings are getting sloppy.

Also, Lonestar, the weight is a lot further back on bullpups which is easier on the arms of a lot of people.

Excessive front heavy weight is really only the case for ARs with weirdo piston systems.

I can purchase an automatic M-16, and its a gun I used proficiently in the US army. I plan to do so along with some ammo, can't wait but must. Can take it to pieces and reassemble in my sleep, even after all these decades. Its a great weapon!

Question: When laser guns or rail guns... or whatever is going to come next in terms of man-portable weaponry... will civilians get to own one? Should they be allowed to own them?

I can only imagine future guns will be powerful and accurate enough to take down an airliner.

This whole "right to bear arms" thing is a hilariously childish notion being used to protect what is basically a hobby for idiotic, anti-social man-children. It's all fun and games while dozens of children get mowed down every other week. But will we still put up with the gun lobby once airliners start getting shot out of the sky?

That debate will be fun to watch. I hope I get to see it.
