  • Congratulations to Britain after a century of Olympic under-performance

Well done chaps, see you at the top of the medals again in 2112. We'll keep a place for you until then.
Any views I may express here are personal and certainly do not in any way reflect the views of my employer. Tis the rising of the moon..

Look, I just don't anymore, okay?

They aren't top of the medals...

What happens when you exclude joke "sports"?

GB can't win any real sports like Canada has.

Gold in women's trampoline...don't you ****ing forget it.

But as the host, they have the most participants. 541/530 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2012_Summer_Olympics

So more participants and only 65% of our gold medals. Pretty poor.

I saw the mighty Canada in the womens cycling the other day against Team GB, I'm sure we almost lapped you at one point.

I don't think just entering people is generally enough to win golds.

You gotta be in it to win it.

Haven't they won something like 4 or 5 times as many medals as they usually do? Am I the only one who thinks that's a little strange? Is the home court advantage usually that great?

The Australians are the ones who deserve credit for being sports fanatics, of anyone.

We won 19 Gold medals at the Beijing Olympics, and last time I checked China was no longer in the Empire.
