With other words, if a person opens a rape case where s/he accuses someone of raping her/him and it can proven beyond doubt, that this person intentionally lied about it,
will this person then also have to face a criminal court, in which s/he, if found guilty, will be sentenced to several years of prison (similar to the fate that would have awaited the other person if s/he had been found guilty of the rape)

If she lies in court then its perjury. If she just lies to police then it's usually some form of obstruction of justice type charge. I know of several instances where people lying to police about any type of assault having been jailed as a consequence

I think it would have been better to say that women shouldn't go to men's hotel rooms. But not all women are that smart. It doesn't make them liars.

I get a distinct impression that several guys here are parannoid about being accused of rape.

Sounds bad, so I guess that a number of us are

Yes. I fully expect it. I've seen the way women cut off all contact and run away. I don't see how they wouldn't scream rape.

Women stop talking to you, therefore they'd gladly accuse you of a crime you didn't commit. Makes sense.

They've made up lies about me already.

That's it right there. Why don't you get over yourself and stop raging at society for your own paranoias. Treat people with respect and you'll have nothing to worry about.

It's a complicated and contradictory persona. You would have to be pretty imaginative to even invent such a character

I will admit that if I was sitting on a jury and a women willing went to a sport star's hotel room, I would have a more difficult time believing a rape accusation. I know women are allowed to change their mind but if all they had was he said she said and their were no physical injuries, that wouldn't be enough for me. (unless the guy had a lot of similar prior incidents)

It's unlikely you would hear about priors at trial.
