We're not buying it, Zoe. You don't work 71 hours a week.

100-ish. The joys of running your own business juuuuust successful enough to keep you busy all day every day and still leave you ten steps behind, but not quite enough to overcome being too cheap to hire anyone, or to overcome inability to trust anyone to do anything right if hired, because holy **** are people ever idiots. *** ******* ******
      Unbelievable!

Precisely 40 hours a week except for two weeks a couple months back when I was working 11 hour days because our numbers had gotten very low. But I'm also going to school again, so theoretically I should be adding that on top. Come the fall semester, I'll be "working" ~52 hours a week + homework.

Exactly. I average about 21 hours per week. Might be doing a bit extra in the next few weeks...

If you work less than thirty you either can't get a better job or you're a lazy ****er. Anything less than 40 is part time. I'll accept a handful of excuses for less than 30: can't find something better, have kids to take care of and your spouse is the breadwinner, you're in school part time, or you're in semi-retirement.

I don't think anyone really cares what you'll accept, just saying.

What gives with this whole 'Work 50+ hours or die!' stuff espoused by KH, Kuci, HC, and now regexcellent? And this dick-waving about how many hours they work?

If people want to work 20 hour weeks, that's on them. There's no reason for your condemnation.

It is dick-waving. Hours mean nothing. The worst people I've worked with were all obsessed with how many hours they put in. Wish they were more obsessed with doing a better job.

This has to be a troll, for if you work 5 days a week, which is fairly normal, then do ten a day thats 50 a week..means something DaShi, not dick waving unless you jerk off people for a living. Whether you work 20 or 70 +, it could be a matter of economic or medical necessity. It may mean you simply want it that way, doesnt mean your braggibg or anything else, but I suppose that could be an option, not only reason though

40 hours. It's the max governmental limit (well you could work more and get comp time, up to 24 hours of it, but unless you need more leave for a vacation, why?)

I work 12 hours for 4 days, at night, then rest 4 days. So, I work 48 hours per week but get a lot of rest

Even the service restricts your time on duty. After a relatively short period, at least in terms of this poll, efficiency and safety drop markedly. You're simply not getting done what a fresh person would be accomplishing, and you're putting yourself and others at risk. It's not worth it to anyone's interests.

In terms of paid employment, I flatly refuse to work more than my current 35 hours/week.
