Cutting aid to the Pakis by only 33 million is a ****ing joke. We could send a much clearer message by cutting Pakistan off completely and pouring money and guns into India.

We went over this before, and while Imran and the Brits went on blathering about feelings and racism and other nonsense that I don't care about, I did research and came up with a reasonable explanation for breaking from the usual morphology. Pakistan apparently means land of the pure, and since it would be boastful of people to call themselves pure, the preferred term is Pakistani, people of the land of the pure. Paki means "Holy". Pakistan means "holy Land" (or land of the holy). Context is important.
