    It's not that they are too complicated. It's that they are more complicated. Driving is an activity to get from point a to point b. Reducing the amount of effort in this activity is desired.

    • You do not want a manual transmission if you live in a traffic jam like Dallas. I've also had them both, but would not go back to manuals. I also had a car without defrosters. That was fun to hop out every 1/2 mile and scrap off the windshield....luckily it was in Austin so only happened a few times.

        Add 'for me' to that somewhere and you're good. A lot of people enjoy the art of driving; a lot don't.
