                • Well, the critical parts of the plane that you would need to hit with guns, as opposed to cannons (which can hit anywhere and still destroy the plane), are the engine (in the front), the pilot (in the cockpit), and the oxygen system (also in the cockpit). So that's probably correct, although I think the targets are actually over fuel and ammunition storage within the plane, which could under some circumstances cause nasty fires and secondaries.
