Call To Power 2 Cradle 3+ mod in progress: https://apolyton.net/forum/other-games/call-to-power-2/ctp2-creation/9437883-making-cradle-3-fully-compatible-with-the-apolyton-edition
If Oerdin can get a degree in geology, I can't see any problem that you can get one in astronomy
Edit: come to think about it, that was probably not the nicest thing to say
With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.
"Flutie was better than Kelly, Elway, Esiason and Cunningham." - Ben Kenobi
"I have nothing against Wilson, but he's nowhere near the same calibre of QB as Flutie. Flutie threw for 5k+ yards in the CFL." -Ben Kenobi
Well, that was probably a bit mean to Oerdin, though, I consider you one of the more bright posters here, so he must take the heat this time.
The real question is wether you want to "flip burgers" and gaze at stars in your spare time or if you want to be paid for doing that. Probably not the best paid job, but who cares if you are doing something something you consider fun

Just be careful what you tweet... don't want to get expelled.

The median pay for an astronomer is 100k$ per year, why would it be considered as an alternative to 'flipping burgers'?

FWIW, my master's adviser was in some sort of hippy commune until his late 30's, at which point he dropped out of the commune and got his phd in computer science. He was a moron (e.g. he insisted that the exponential-time recursive algorithm for computing Fibonacci numbers was better than the linear-time iterative algorithm, because recursion is awesome or something), but the point is that it's never too late to go to college.
Edit: Also, I met a 50-year-old French-Canadian dude who was working on his master's degree in computer science, but you probably don't want to be that guy. French-Canadians suck ass.
I had a friend who graduated with his PhD at the same time as me (and now works for boozallen), he screwed around in highschool... (Fs I think) did community college and then did well in college and graduate school.

Didn't know that such was bathed in gold - now, may I suggest that you get your fat lazy ass out of the bed and start studying

I had a similar situation, but waited 15 years to go back. The rules at that time were that anything over 10 years did not count anymore. Hmm..maybe that was just for transfers. WTF it is a community college anyway.
Edit oh yeah, retaking classes was a wipe in some instances.
We're sorry, the voices in my head are not available at this time. Please try back again soon.
Some of what I'm reading online seems to suggest that a BS in Astronomy is not a particularly useful degree, and that I should just continue with Physics until I get to grad school. Hmm.
