GS has a pretty high turnover, in my experience. Though most people I know left because of pangs of conscience, KH!!!“As a lifelong member of the Columbia Business School community, I adhere to the principles of truth, integrity, and respect. I will not lie, cheat, steal, or tolerate those who do.”

Reverse commuting or are you gonna move? Also, I've always wondered about what laws and taxes are in place that makes CT so attractive for hedge funds and reinsurance. I've tried looking it up but I'm failing to find concrete reasons.Last edited by MRT144; March 9, 2012, 12:36."I hope I get to punch you in the face one day" - MRT144, Imran Siddiqui

Taxes are def lower (still high, but not as crazy as nyc) which is also a nice little bonus for me (equal to an extra 8-9% pay on its own). I would guess most hedgies are registered out of state anyway (e.g. Delaware) so corp laws don't matter.12-17-10 Mohamed Bouazizi NEVER FORGET

Your moving to suburbia? Uggghhh...I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891
