People with college degrees aren't exactly rare. Maybe you should admit you were wrong for once.

We could do a poll about Masters or Doctorate degrees... you're dancing around my point that Apolyton represents a privileged demographic.

What do you want, statistics? You reject statistics that don't confirm what you already believe...

Over 50% of first marriages end in divorce.

My dad died when I was a teenager & my mom died a couple of years ago.

              To my knowledge, no.

Scroll down to figures 3a and 3b. Then scroll down to 4a and 4b. Then look at 5.

My parents are closing in on 40 years together. But yeah, I'm pretty privileged. My dad is a college dropout, my mom works a dead end job, and it was way cool wondering if the utilities would be on when I got home from school.

                    I read **** like this:

"Married adults now divorce two-and-a-half times as often as adults did 20 years ago and four times as often as they did 50 years ago... between 40% and 60% of new marriages will eventually end in divorce. The probability within... the first five years is 20%, and the probability of its ending within the first 10 years is 33%... Perhaps 25% of children ages 16 and under live with a stepparent." -Brian K. Williams, Stacy C. Sawyer, Carl M. Wahlstrom, Marriages, Families & Intimate Relationships, 2005

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Only 25%. So thanks for proving yourself wrong. So the majority of children are NOT living with a stepparent.

Now add the 34% who live in single-parent homes!

Which was my entire point from the other thread that non-traditional families outnumber traditional.

Straight from gribbler quoting me in the OP of this thread:
It's rare to find anyone whose biological parents are married!
Yup, that includes single-parent homes, does it not?

You said RARE... and you have YET to PROVE it.

                            Have fun.

You made a strawman and crushed it with gusto. Good job, Ming. You go, boy.
