Apparently, smart enough not to use personal attacks in an argument against personal attacks.

Just because you feel some attacks are off-limits and others not, does not mean the rest of us are limited to your way of thinking. Because of that blatant contradiction, there's no logic in your argument.

No it doesn't. The racial and misogynist attacks are perfectly valid to address specifically. They can't be excused by previous wrongdoing by Malkin, and so those previous wrongdoings are simply not applicable to whether the racial and misogynist attacks are justified or not.

Yes, they can. Because people like Magoo, use these attacks to cover their own. She feels free to attack others because the minute she is criticized for it, she just posts the angry responses to those attacks by the masses. Then people, like you, come to defend her while her original attacks get ignored.

Not smart enough to realize the difference between "personal attacks" and "attacks on gender or ethnicity". You really are a moron.

There is no contradiction in my statements. You are being stupid, so I call you stupid. It is bad to be stupid. The pejorative is deserved for those who are stupid. I may be right or wrong about you being stupid, but it is a completely different issue than gender or ethnicity because:

It is not bad to have a gender. Using pejoratives against a person based on their gender is always wrong.
It is not bad to have an ethnic background. Using pejoratives against a person based on their ethnic background is always wrong.

No one is ignoring the "original" attacks here. No one is defending her statments here. We are defending her gender and ethnicity (as well as everyone else's) as not valid targets.

            • Let's recap here..

Innocent student gets called a slut and a prostitute by leading GOP media celebrity who is also known for his racist views.

GOP musters just enough enthusiasm to call Limbaugh's comments 'innappropiate'...

Michelle Malkin previously known for her racially motivated attacks and desire to disriminate against American citizens based purely on their race says that she has been racially insulted in the past.

Suddenly it doesn't matter that an innocent student was attacked by a GOP hate monger because we should all instead start feeling sorry for Michelle ****ing Malkin?

Please, attacks on gender or ethnicity are just a more destructive form of personal attacks because they have greater collaborative damage.

Both are attempts to avoid reasoning in arguments, which is what you are doing now:

If you think that Malkin suddenly felt the need to mention this stuff as anything other than a way to deflect some well deserved blame away from the GOP, then you're mistaken. When you feel the need to state the obvious (racism is bad, m'kay) then well done you just helped her achieve her goals.

No, you're doing both. That is my complaint. It's perfectly valid to show disgust at the attacks against her gender and ethnicity, but be certain that you aren't protecting her own such attacks at the same time. By ignoring those original attacks, you are doing that.

Exactly, Aeson is hammering this obvious point so hard and missing the bigger picture. It's very frustrating. That he had to resort to personal attacks is just sad.

No, there is a real difference between the insult I made, and an insult based on ethnicity or gender. You obviously aren't bright enough to understand that difference, rather justifying my insult.

There is nothing wrong with being a woman
There is nothing wrong with being of Filipino ancestry
There is something wrong with being stupid

It isn't hard to see the difference there...

I stated the difference, but I was talking about intent there. You're intent, like everything you've posted here, is obvious.

No, it doesn't help her achieve her goals. I am making blanket statements about the wrongness not only of the actions against her, but of her own actions (in many cases).

I am simply not being a hypocrite who ignores X if "my side" does it, while going ballistic about X if "their side" does it.

IT IS ALWAYS WRONG WHOEVER DOES IT, WHOEVER THE TARGET IS. It isn't about sides, it's about consistency. And you were trying to justify the attacks against her by pretending they were deserved. You were wrong to do so, and I'm glad you're moving away from your arguments now and trying to pretend my statements you've been arguing against are in fact, indisputable. Thank you

To point out where you are being stupid. Of course.

                              • Where are these great attacks on gender/ethnicity here that the great white knight, Aeson has come down from his high horse to lecture all of us?
