It's not clear if Obama had anything to do with her losing her job.

Still classier than Matt Yglesias, though...

Conventions around dead people are ridiculous. The world outlook is slightly improved with @AndrewBrietbart dead.

If you think @AndrewBrietbart's opponents shouldn't be glad he's dead, you're not taking his life's work seriously.

Matt Taibbi had a much better mean response.

Didn't he call Ted Kennedy a "villain" and "*****" shortly after Kennedy's death? Seems like Breitbart would approve of the posthumous Breitbart-hate

Although while I don't think it would be appropriate for somebody to change their expressed opinion of Breitbart now that he's dead ("Man, I hate that guy. What, he's dead? The world will mourn his passing"), IMO the preferred course of action is to just say nothing if you hate the guy. Wait a few weeks at least before dancing on the grave.

In fact, that way the guy's main way of going about business; he'd either buy or fake videos, push them on conservative media like Fox, so that when the victim was later cleared of all the allegations it was too late because their good name had been destroyed by the right wing media. The man was just a lying piece of ****.
First of all, that guy was James O'Keefe.

Second, ACORN had been known for a long time to have been involved in fraudulent voter registration all over the country. It was by no means a perfect unicorns-and-rainbows totally scandal-free organization.

O'Keefe made the video and took it to Breitbart. They then edited the hell out of it, making it seem to say the exact opposite of what actually happened, added in some extra scenes to make it look like he was dressed as a pimp looking to sell white girls as sex slaves to blacks, and then released it on Breitbart's site so that it went viral in the right wing blogosphere.

Second point: You're full of **** wrt ACORN. Yes, some of the people ACORN hired and paid by the signature did indeed fill out forms for "Bugs Bunny" and such but ACORN was the one who reported them to the police. By law it is illegal not to turn in any registration form which has been filled out so ACORN flagged those ones and gave them to the police telling them they believe the paid by the signature contractors had tried to cheat them. They then brought charges against the contractors who attempted to defraud ACORN. So you're trying to turn the victim here, the victim who actually called the police and exposed the fraud, as the evil force behind the fraud which is complete bull****. Notice how the post edited video on the matter cleared ACORN of all of the accusations?

How on Earth could you not know the truth of what happened and continue spewing Breitbart/Fox lies?

To be fair, he wasn't wrong about Kennedy; neither are those calling Breitbart a race-baiting media whore.

I read "heart attack" somewhere, but on review it was just speculation (though offhand I can't think of any other "natural causes" that suddenly kill people in their early 40's - most of them, e.g. cancer and AIDS, aren't particularly sudden)

Maybe he ate some bad mushrooms? I recently read that the Death Cap and Destroying Angel are often mistaken for edible species

Smart money would be on sudden cardiac arrest, but I wouldn't be terribly shocked if toxicology turned up some interesting results.
