    WTF?

    In Memoriam: Andrew Breitbart (1969-2012)
Posted by Larry Solov Mar 1st 2012 at 5:55 am in Featured Story, News | Comments (15)With a terrible feeling of pain and loss we announce the passing of Andrew Breitbart.

Andrew passed away unexpectedly from natural causes shortly after midnight this morning in Los Angeles.

We have lost a husband, a father, a son, a brother, a dear friend, a patriot and a happy warrior.

Andrew lived boldly, so that we more timid souls would dare to live freely and fully, and fight for the fragile liberty he showed us how to love.

Andrew recently wrote a new conclusion to his book, Righteous Indignation:

I love my job. I love fighting for what I believe in. I love having fun while doing it. I love reporting stories that the Complex refuses to report. I love fighting back, I love finding allies, and—famously—I enjoy making enemies.

Three years ago, I was mostly a behind-the-scenes guy who linked to stuff on a very popular website. I always wondered what it would be like to enter the public realm to fight for what I believe in. I’ve lost friends, perhaps dozens. But I’ve gained hundreds, thousands—who knows?—of allies. At the end of the day, I can look at myself in the mirror, and I sleep very well at night.

Andrew is at rest, yet the happy warrior lives on, in each of us.

Disliked his opinions greatly, but condolences to his family. That's a terribly young age to die.

Never liked the guy, either as a person or a pundit. He was a jerk, but I'll say this -- at least he owned his jerkiness.

Yep, and that was just the tip of the iceberg. He perfected the art of lying to people stupid enough to believe his bull**** because they wanted to believe bad things about non-conservatives. The man was just a lying dirtbag but he did know how to play know nothing idiots like a yo yo. He did get rich off of gullible people though, I'll give him that.

That's fairly harsh, Oerdin. It's not like he was Colonel Gaddafi.

Don't even get me started about Obama. He throw her under the bus without even stopping to wonder if the claim was true.

He was basically a media hitman who set out to destroy the lives of people who didn't have an "R" next to their name and that was the only reason. His blog was nothing but a collection of lies and misinformation being peddled by talk radio hate mongers. Sure, he's not a mass murderer like Gaddafi but the world is still better off without him in it.

He was the one who destroyed ACORN, a great organization which helped black people and poor people vote and improve their lives, using faked and edited videos which gave a completely false impression. In fact, that way the guy's main way of going about business; he'd either buy or fake videos, push them on conservative media like Fox, so that when the victim was later cleared of all the allegations it was too late because their good name had been destroyed by the right wing media. The man was just a lying piece of ****.
