            If baby humans are carried in by storks, are baby storks flown in by humans in airplanes? But then how did they get there before the airplane was invented?

              More importantly how is the balance between storks and humans maintained? I think we all know the answer.

                      I imagine it must be some sort of probability distribution, probably. We need enough storks to bring all the human babies but we also need enough babies to prevent mass unemployment in the stork population, probably.

                      OTH It may be all due to divine intervention. Is there a stork goddess?
