Or its the speculation that's going around that everyone knows Romney is going to be the winner, so why burn bridges in case Romney wins and is looking to fill a cabinet or in the position of helping a Congressman out.

    • The rise of Paul has me reading Daniel Pipes' "Conspiracy," which the author describes as an "interpretive essay" conspiracy theories and conspiracy theorists.
One interesting explanation for conspiracy theorism offered within: that it is the 'trap' of the logical mind. It makes for interesting read so far but I'm only at the beginning.
"You say that it is your custom to burn widows. Very well. We also have a custom: when men burn a woman alive, we tie a rope around their necks and we hang them. Build your funeral pyre; beside it, my carpenters will build a gallows. You may follow your custom. And then we will follow ours."--General Sir Charles James Napier

          Wait, what?

What kind of cabinet position would Ron Paul even be interested in, and who the hell would want a loose cannon like Paul in their cabinet anyway?

          I mean, I suppose it's possible that's Ron Paul's logic, but I doubt it.

Cue a whole bunch of retards chiming in and saying "wait, but that's true!"

The harmless position would be a VP. The coveted one is a State Secretary.

                    • This is why people laugh at Ron Paul's supporters and call them Paultards. There is just a huge strain of wacky nonsense spewed by these dumb asses.

Summary: He hates the Federal Reserve but doesn't know why but he KNOWS!!! the government is hiding secrets about space alien visits to Earth.

You sound surprised. Take a look at any Conspiracy Theorist forum and you'll see any number of people driven insane by the inflexibility of their own logic.

Ah. But any need for counter arguments can be avoided if you can throw enough mud, assuming enough mud sticks. Yep, just discredit the other person so much that nobody will listen thus avoiding any need to present facts or rational arguments.

Can you prove that Guvmint is not hiding secrets about space alien visits.
