So Harper isn't a stooge of the oil industry until I have produced you with wiretaps?

    You guys are cute.

We have discussed this already. Higher C$ hurts Quebec more than the indirect benefits of oil money, federal government cuts taxes instead of investing in renewable energy projects, etc...

You really have problems reading don't you. Until you produce proof it's your opinion. (which you haven't in this thread) I didn't question your opinion, I just stated that it was your opinion until you provide proof.

You actually questioned that it was common knowledge. You have problems understanding what you write, don't you?

Definitive proof of global warming. Spring thaw happens early. You can clearly see the worms squirming.

No, I said ""well known" is code for Oncle Boris's opinion," quoting you using the phrase "WELL KNOWN". Can't you read your own posts.

I'm still waiting for proof. Is common knowledge code for I don't have to provide any proof?

"Common knowledge" is a difficult term to apply to ignoramuses, I concur.

What do you know about Canadian politics?

I didn't claim to know anything. I was asking for proof of some type. You can call me any name you want, but it doesn't mean you can say whatever opinion you have and have it be accepted as god given truth just because you claim it as common knowledge. What an arrogant ass. But then those here expect no less.

If all the Canadians here will post that it's common knowledge that he's a stooge of big oil, I'll concede the point to him that it's common knowledge. (even though I think the posters here are generally above average and not just common, but there are exceptions )

Even if one concedes Harper a stooge of big oil, it does not follow that the specifics of any given closed door meeting would have an iota to do about a largely ignored international accord. It is far more likely that the discussion revolved around what can be done to allow for greater oil and natural gas exploration activities were I to guess.

In a similar vein I find it hilarious that anything could be considered "well know" or "common knowledge" if the point is that the discussions are closed door meetings.

Here, I thought this thread was about Canada's location.

For those who don't know, you need to burn 2-3 parts of oil to turn oil sands into viable oil. As such, exploitation of the resource means that Canada can't participate in any carbon reduction program, at all, ever, and this is Harper's number one political priority.

Only a ****ing moron could not understand this. As for "proof", I am honored to report that I don't have any intercepted email to produce, nor have I broken into any minister's phone.
