When the Cons sabotage a good agreement then we will have something to talk about.

The proposals thus far have been more concerned with income redistribution than climate change. Greenies are the modern day Marxists.

I'm with Boris. Canada should remain a member, and Quebec can foot the $14B bill to "buy credits".

It's a well know thing that they are working behind closed doors to sabotage anything.

Maybe Ontario can get Quebec to buy McGuinty's ****in' windmills.

When you say it's well known I am instantly skeptical.

"well known" is code for Oncle Boris's opinion,
It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

You do notice the (almost) unanimous position of the Canadian posters despite their political leanings?

There is widespread opposition to signing a bad deal but if a fair and reasonable climate change proposal comes along (doubtful) it would be very difficult for even this PM to scuttle it.

Sure you would. Canada would need to cut funding to pay the bills. Guess who the biggest cow is?

First thing to go, especially from Harper, would be Quebec funding.

Don't be an idiot. How many times Harper's cabinet met with a representative from the oil industry during his first 3 years of government?

If they met behind closed door, no matter how obvious, it's still speculation. Did anyone come out of those meetings and tell the press what they were talking about?
Do you have any hard evidence of what was discussed in those meeting?

This also implies the issue is entirely about the oil industry. It isn't.

These are a few of my well know (sic) things:

                              The location of bigfoot.

The exact medical procedures completed on space alien abductees.

The name and number of illuminati members and current projects to ensure world order.

All are well known due to the fact that the discussions happen behind closed doors.

All that matters to him is it'll severely hurt everyone outside of Quebec.

He lacks the foresight to understand that Quebec will be hurt when the sugar daddies are hurt.
