I agree completely. A good teacher is worth his/her weight in gold, well worth $75,000 a year. Teaching well does require skills, aptitude and dedication.

I have to agree with Kid. Elok would make a horrible psychologist. He'd probably actually try to help his patients rather than simply trying to get them in a cycle of dependence on drugs and counseling and thus might actually lose clients to something other than suicide. This would reduce his overall income. Pay being the absolute measure of how good he is in the marketplace.

Plus he doesn't seem to like going over the same problem over and over again with people who aren't going to change their mind anyways.
