The law made me wait to start being a caddy until I actually turned 13. I was a bit of a runt back then so it was probably good that I wasn't allowed to do it any younger.

I had my first job at 8. I earned like half what minimum wage was back then. Further, my earnings were used to pay for school supplies. This taught me to instinctively hate work. A very useful lesson indeed.Comment
