Re: the whole " Song of the South" discussion I would have thought someone from the land of Disney would have been clued to the fact that the whole Uncle Remus story is considered racist and offensive in the same vein as the Amos and Andy schtick was. But then again I only wish to possess the extraordinary powers of wrongness. Ohh to dream the dream.

Indeed. It would also be awesome watching gribbler's avatar chasing Albies avatar down a Philadelphian street.

In keeping with the general tone of thread, I would like to make the following statements:

        1. I am not racist, I just hate all other races
        2. I am not sexist, I just hate women
        3. I am not homophobic, I just hate homosexuals
        4. I am not (insert label), I just hate (insert same label again)

I just wanted you all to know what a paragon of love and tolerance I am, I am.

Ogie, like DD, is often grossly wrong. Oerdin and others just don't publicize it as much.

I'd destroy that little puppy much like I destroy lame DinoDoc posts with his idiotic non sequitur.

I mean DD has to be the stupidest son of a ***** who still walks around with that self satisfied grin on his face. The guy probably has a kick me sign stuck on his back.

Please could we have a breakdown of all the crimes committed in the relevant areas, with details of the ethnic background of the offenders?

There are stats for the Palestinian territories but it's not broken down by ethnic group. Why would you want it broken down by ethnic group anyway especially since it isn't an ethnic problem so much as a cultural problem? Other Arab states don't have the sky high violent crime rates of Palestinians with organized militias running around executing each other so it's clearly not an ethnic problem but a cultural problem.

IIRC there are some 5 to 7 million additional Palestinians living outside of Israel.

                      • Er, if I'm allowed to go back to the original topic here, I consider it encouraging that the crazy radicals in this particular case (you remember, the satirical newspaper in France?) directly targeted the people they were angry at, instead of just rioting at an embassy like they did in previous cases.

Because you're claiming it as a fact, but you can offer no proof of its factual basis.

We've had claims like that made on Poly probably every month over the past 12 years, for loads of ethnic groups. I always challenge them. Nobody has ever managed to back up their claims- and that should surprise absolutely nobody if they actually stopped and thought about it.

That just prooves that Palestinians get shafted both by the Arabs and the Israelis.

Besides, you take the same stance each time a Jewish family (rightfully) reclaims an artefact that was stolen from them during WW2 ?

Just to think, the Jews were refugees from Palestine from the 1st century AD. I don't know about you, but if you and your ancestors have lived in Eastern Europe, Germany, and other countries for 1800 years, that's your home. You aren't from Palestine anymore.
