    Does it go back to Adam and Eve, and the apple? Did the apple tree, like Adam and Eve, feel compelled to cover it's nakedness?

      Nonsense. trees are very modest. And they provide Bambi with nourishment.

                        I'll say this for Slowwie, he does have incredibly thick skin - it's about the only evolutionary advantage I can think of for being Texan...
