I struggled to go a week without porn when I started trying to (when I felt convicted that it was wrong in 2006). I had relapses/etc, just like I think people do when going off alcohol/tobacco/etc. Serious ones where I would be back to a daily habit for months.
I would do the 'searching endlessly, fast-forwarding to the bits they find hottest' thing sometimes (sometimes just find a video I 'desired').
My desires changed some too, to what was going on in the pornography, but I think this is different then a sign of addiction (it is just one of the negative things pornography can do).
I think some of the reason why I didn't find a serious girlfriend until I was 29 was because I was getting my 'needs' filled by pornography (that was somewhat what I desired when I started watching pornography daily? at age 17 when I first got my own computer and got free internet at college. but the 'fix' was harmful too I feel).
I did use porn as something to do to feel better when I felt bad.
JMTo us, it is the BEAST.
