Why doesn't the second amendment allow me to have a French "do anthing gun"? Supposedly, it is good as artillery, as an anti-tank gun, and as an anti-aircraft gun (if shells with a proximity fuse are used). It sounds like just what I need to make sure the neighbors don't neglect me. As any other red blood American I want military grade hardware and the NRA told me I should be able to have it so why can't I have one? I'm sure it will be a big hit at the next teabagger convention.

The second amendment doesn't specify what kind of arms you can bear so obviously banning "assault weapons" is unconstitutional. By extension people should be allowed to own artillery pieces. -
So when can I expect delivery of my artillery piece? I have neighbors I don't like and I want to level their houses. Come to think of it, it would be nice to have an MG42 as well. It'll be none of the government's business why you want an artillery piece until after you've leveled your neighbor's house. At which point they can pry it from your cold, dead hands. They won't be cold right after they shoot you in the head, but whatever.Comment

Yeah, it's for collecting or hunting or killing someone who tries to break into your house. Why do you want a collection of usable military hardware? I don't know, but it's none of the government's business.Comment

If you are tired of your neighbours, then just dig some tunnels to their houses and place a buch of dynamite there. It would be impressive and all evidence will be buryied. Further, when you are digging, you can't post here and that would be a relief for us
