I suggest you let the sandwich cool down, maybe let the cheese solidify just a little, before boning it.

I prefer any type of hot steak and cheese sandwich.
I will admit that I never considered boning one since the normal foot long bun wouldn't be long enough for me.It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

There's a restaurant nearby that has a prime rib sandwich - medium rare beef, grilled onions, and swiss, plus some tobasco.
When I lived near Chicago my favorite sandwich was a Portillo's italian beef, dipped, with hot peppers, but there aren't any restaurants in Ohio (that I know of) that serve italian beef<p style="font-size:1024px">HTML is disabled in signatures </p>

I don't know that I have a real favorite, but here's the one I have real long-term feelings for:
Grilled polish sausage, charred just right, on a poppyseed bun with a bit of sauerkraut. Wrap it in foil for about 5 minutes to let the flavors meld. Then add a thin line of ketchup and yellow mustard. Really awesome if properly executed.
The place I used to get these is closed; no one else seems able to get it right.Apolyton's Grim Reaper 2008, 2010 & 2011

I love Italian Beef sandwiches. Failing that, a pastrami on rye (though I love to add jalapenos and banana peppers).“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Edit: Oh, don't forget to try their classic custom roast french press coffee for just $0.09. Supposedly, in WW2 shortages forced coffee prices up so Philippe promised his customers if they came in a cup of his house roasted coffee would always be $0.09; it's now 2011 and the place still keeps Philippe's promise that coffee should never cost more than $0.09. It tastes just as good as many fancy coffee house coffees too.Last edited by Dinner; October 3, 2011, 21:06.Try http://wordforge.net/index.php for discussion and debate.
