Well, he never really left power. He spent two terms as President, then one term as the second highest guy with his personal puppet doing as he said and keeping his seat warm, and now Putin has decided he doesn't need his ass puppet any more so he'll just take power once again. Let's face it, Russia is a 3rd world dictatorship which runs rigged elections whose results were never in question. Meanwhile, legalistic restriction have been put in place to bar other parties from getting into politics and especially from opposing Putin in any serious way. What a joke.
