I bought it due to the strange grains thread. I've had it before and it's not bad but it is different.

"spiced beer" is for yuppies and other assorted douchebags

The only two Qwebek beers worth drinking are "Maudit" and "Fin de Monde".

They taste like crap, but they're around 7% alcohol so they will get you ****ed up on the cheap.

I've had Fin de la Monde and didn't like it. They were tryng too hard to make the world's strongest beer but it ended up tasting like medicine.

BTW I had a bottle of Avery Brewing Company Salvation Ale (a Belgian style golden ale), a bottle of Firestone Walker's Reserve Porter, and have now moved on to a bottle of Blackthorn English Cider "Made in the west country" it says.

What, precisely, does a posh wank entail? I think mine are pretty boorish and working class

A posh wank is wanking with a condom on. Less guilt, less mess and more cost = posho.

I'm currently craving Bras D'or, a Quebec beer that hasn't been brewed since the early '80s.

Tonight I finally got my fix of cheese grits & shrimp. "Cheese Grits with Shrimp - Blackened shrimp, chorizo cream, cheesy stone ground Anson Mills grit" The cheese was creme fraiche. I got it at Aquamoree in La Jolla.

I also had a caprese salad, truffled pomme frites (French fries with truffle oil cooked in duck fat), and a couple of rather good mixed drinks.
