I bought it due to the strange grains thread. I've had it before and it's not bad but it is different.

I wanted something different to go with my Sorghum beer so I bought a beer from Quebec made by Brasserie Dieu du Ciel, their Route des espices beer which is made from rye and spiced with peppercorn. This should be different.

"spiced beer" is for yuppies and other assorted douchebags

The only two Qwebek beers worth drinking are "Maudit" and "Fin de Monde".


They taste like crap, but they're around 7% alcohol so they will get you ****ed up on the cheap.

I've had Fin de la Monde and didn't like it. They were tryng too hard to make the world's strongest beer but it ended up tasting like medicine.

BTW I had a bottle of Avery Brewing Company Salvation Ale (a Belgian style golden ale), a bottle of Firestone Walker's Reserve Porter, and have now moved on to a bottle of Blackthorn English Cider "Made in the west country" it says.

Tonight I finally got my fix of cheese grits & shrimp. "Cheese Grits with Shrimp - Blackened shrimp, chorizo cream, cheesy stone ground Anson Mills grit" The cheese was creme fraiche. I got it at Aquamoree in La Jolla.
