It's a two axis system so they're not in "the same slot". They're in completely different spots.

Are we talking capitalism vs. socialism/communism or conservatism vs. progressivism?

I know what this conversation is about. I don't think you do, John Jackson.

The conversation is, "how many fish can I get on one hook?"
No, I did not steal that from somebody on Something Awful.

I thought it was making excuses.

The only failure in this thread is you.

Indeed. TMM, this is THE standard political graph people have been using for decades. That you don't understand it means you need to study it a bit closer before making nonsensical claims like Fascism and Communism are the same or are both "leftist" (when in fact they're extreme right and extreme left respectively).

It's wrong and simplistic. Fascism is more nuanced than just 'right'. Fascism is not laissez-faire capitalist for one.

Laissez-faire capitalism would be one part of the continium between left and right not the extreme right. Look at the graph, simpleton.

**** your graph. Your graph is simplistic.

How the **** is laissez-faire capitalism not extreme right if right/left is in reference to capitalism/planned economies? How can anything be more capitalistic than laissez-faire capitalism?!

I asked, what is right/left in reference to? It has to be something besides capitalism/planned for your BS to make sense. But then that defeats your entire point from weeks ago on the first page.
