  • The price of bananas?

Bananas are around A$18.00 per kilogram here. An outrageous price. We appear to have a shortage of bananas perhaps due to flooding in Queensland. Anyway paying $3 or $4 for a banana uch:

What is the price where you are?

Seems like 99 cents a pound is familiar.

I don't remember the exact price, but it's somewhere between KH's and Sloww's.

I'm thinking mine is high, but I can't find store pricing on a Google search.

We had a thread about this a few months ago.

And both KH and Sloww live in over-priced areas. Bananas are 3lbs/$1.00 at my local supermarket.

Ground veal is $4.99/lb here. I remember Apolyton posters were incredulous about that price.

If australia is what you consider an island, then everyone lives on an island.

Banana prices? Don't ask. They've gone bananas.

A friendly atoll. And the dust is very welcoming. It's like Lara Bingle says: where the bloody hell are you and why aren't you a bikini model lying on a nondescript beach somewhere tropical that could very well be in Australia?
