Isn't it funny how when the market takes a **** everyone runs to the U.S. Treasury? Seriously, there was a massive flood of people all begging to buy treasures today because the stocks in private companies were performing like a turd thrown off the Empire State Building so the political hacks at S&P can suck it.
My portfolio's down 7.5% on the day. 17% over 7 trading days.
Mine was also down 7.5% yesterday, almost exactly.
Down 15% last 5 trading days.
I'm still outperforming the S&P 500 over the past six months by 12% so I'm happy overall. Don't need these funds for ~30 years or so.

I made a lot of money in small-cap funds from early 09 until early this year. Sold much of it off to buy my house...evidently selling it near the (short-term) peak.
