  • The End of News Of The World

Sink you tabloid, gutter press filth!

This Sunday's issue of the News of the World will be the last edition of the paper, News International chairman James Murdoch says.

Good news, another one of these rags down the drain.

1843 is a long time ago. On the upside it's a Murdock paper so good to see it go.

Being owned by Rupert Murdoch doesn't make something bad. C.f. the Wall Street Journal.

Yes I would have titled it - The End Of The World of News.

                It would be more appropriate.

Being owned by Murdoch isn't exactly great...
You just wasted six ... no, seven ... seconds of your life reading this sentence.

Actually, being owned by Rupert Murdoch is the bad part of the WSJ.

The Wall Street Journal is a very good newspaper, DaShi, and the fact that Murdoch owns it is irrelevant.

                        It's commentary section is garbage.

It's a lot more balanced than the Washington Post's is, the other newspaper I read, and most days it has columns by important politicians. So no, it's not garbage.
