Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.

He also hates Texans and Australians, he does diversify." ~ Braindead

Prince epitomises eighties pop music, that alone makes him suck. The echos, the hollow, adhd-style drum rythms, the pointless riffs,..."An archaeologist is the best husband a women can have; the older she gets, the more interested he is in her." - Agatha Christie
"Non mortem timemus, sed cogitationem mortis." - Seneca

I've never heard any of his music... or maybe I have, but then I didn't know that he was the one making them... and no matter how great his songs are, I'm not interested in starting to listen to them based on all the stuff I have heard about him
If piracy means no more prince, then thumbs up for piracyThis space is empty... or is it?

Prince
Fighting internet piracy
his "piracy fighting" is ala Don Quixote... but hey, he can afford it ...
also - internet piracy ... it is just a natural thing to share products which have very easy reproduction ability.... eventually society will go back to realizing that, and stopping unnecessary regulation... but hey... we are not there yet, and Prince can wait with his material until he is irrelevant and his genius forgotten, even more so than now. It is the people who make or break the artists, recognize their genius, and it is not them themselves, or record companies (while listening to the industry, one would not think that way)...
edit: where would I be with seeing this performance, if someone did not "illegaly" post it on youtube, and Drake shared it... nowhere, so for sure, at least for this one performance thanks to "piracy" at least there is someone else to admire his genius.Socrates: "Good is That at which all things aim, If one knows what the good is, one will always do what is good." Do you work for a living or do you work for free just so people will admire your genius? It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

That's the one I always have a problem with when arguing it. Saying that at least that copy was purchased never seems to be enough. It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

Libraries are tax-funded, so each taxpayer is paying their fair share for the intellectual property. Most people never visit their local public libraries, so they are paying for content that they never use. Others reap the benefit.
The fact that some of the library's content is much more popular than other bits is irrelevant.
Over course, having a communal library is creeping socialism at its most insidious...Apolyton's Grim Reaper 2008, 2010 & 2011
