Having played around with it for twenty minutes or so, I agree with Randall Munroe.

Wow, you're really dense. What's your PhD in? If you really have one.

Tech companies come and go with the wind. Very few seem to have staying power. Look at myspace. AOL. They're hanging on, but only barely.

I don't understand how Yahoo is still around.

Google+ Invites Halted Due to Insane Demand
            7:00 PM - June 30, 2011 - By Kevin Parrish -
            Source : Pocket Lint

Googlers flocking to the new Google+ social website took advantage of the invite system and quickly overwhelmed the company's servers. Oops.

Late Wednesday night, Google+ project leader Vic Gundotra announced on the new social website that the invite mechanism was shut down for the night due to an "insane demand." Namely, people like Jane and me were passing out invitations left and right like druggies offering free samples on the street corner. One person with fifteen invites quickly turned into fifteen people with fifteen invites each, thus a small test group turned into a huge colony of pests that even an exterminator couldn't eliminate.
Supposed to be a "sneak in" though.

When the invites open back up, please send me one.

I don't understand how they even got started. They used to be number two, and then they slipped.

Asher, did you get the PM? I'd like an invite, if you have one left.

Don't send me one. Google already has enough of my private information.

There's no quota for invites per person. Google has turned off all invites because they had too many people join. I'll invite people again when it lets me.
