What do you like about Google Chrome?

Google Chrome should not deceive people then, by providing Firefox as one of choices for importing bookmarks.

I'm using FF 5.0 since a few days. Is this completely uncool now?

I think it has still a laggy startup procedure, though it feels a tiny bit faster in that regard than the previous version.

One of my friends told me one time, "Never assume anything about someone. You could make an ass out of yourself."

I did look through Chrome's FAQ first, you douche. Then after not finding anything there, I tried looking through FireFox help on how to export to Chrome. Having found nothing there, I went back to Chrome and went to their forum and posted my question/problem. Now I'm waiting for responses there.

Is the chrome settings folder write-protected?

Couldn't locate the Chrome folder yet, N35.

But, I just registered with the Aardvark website and submitted my Chrome question. Hopefully at some point, someone on there will answer my question.

start -> %appdata% up one step -> local -> google

Found it thanks to you N35. But it's a little different:

Computer --> Users --> Andrew --> App Data --> Local --> Google --> Chrome --> Application --> then some numbers (###.##.###)

I tried unchecking the Read Only box in the ###.##.### folder and I apply the change, but then when I go back to check properties, the box is checked again as if I did not uncheck it.

Bookmarks seem to reside in Chrome\User Data\Default

I don't see a Bookmarks folder there, though. All I see relevant to Bookmarks are a couple files by that name, which I am not able to open with programs that I have.

Notepad++ reveals the extensionless file has the bookmarks, and the .bak file is a backup. Try deleting both and booting crome, and attempting to import bookmarks then.

Question: Can you add new bookmarks?

By default, the Bookmarks Bar is not visible in Chrome...

Yep - I use Ctrl +Shift + B to open up my bookmark toolbar.
