  • There are a very large number of mormons in my area. I went to HS with Asians, Mormons, South Asians. About 5% of the kids were non-mormon white kids. I was special like that.

99% of the 5% white kids comprised the football team. Which obviously was not very good.

Our badminton and cricket teams though -- man, don't **** with them.

What? Mormons aren't good at football?

Yes, and if he's omniscient, he also can tell the difference between which things did happen and which things could have happened. Because that difference is another piece of knowledge. Lord almighty.

the victims of a murderous rampage no longer have free will, how can you describe the murderous rampage as an act of free will?
and the 1st murder wasn't about pride, Cain felt rejected by God and lashed out at Abel for gaining God's favor.

The Mormon schooling they did interfered with the schedule, typically. Brainwashing is hard work, it's taxing on the schedule.

Is that why Steve Young was opposed to California Proposition 8 to ban same-sex marriage? He forgot Mormon teachings about homosexuals?

They don't think of proselytizing that way. They think they are saving your soul, and helping you. I hope this softens your thinking on it somewhat. Yes it's a bit annoying but they are trying to help you, misguided or not.

Mormonism isn't a cult any more than any other religion is a cult, and certainly not as much of a cult as scientology or moonies which exists almost explicitly to drain your money. It's based off real belief, not scam artists. Converts aren't made through coercion or questionable circumstances but through charity.

Their conservative social beliefs don't set them apart from devout members of most other religions in any way.

They are not a cult. Their religious practices are not self-destructive.

I don't care if they think I should join their religion. They would like to cram their religion down everyone else's throats. I hope they get food poisoning somewhat.
