In Stargate, the host humans can have sex and produce an offspring, though. But that's not a goa'uld-human hybrid. That's still a human that is produced.

    The goa'uld themselves are asexual.

And yes, I looked it up to confirm.

But anyway, what happens if two human hosts reproduce huh? What do you call that?

Actually, the Harsesis has the 'genetic memory' of the goa'uld so I guess there is some DNA being shared. It is still made clear that the offspring is still biologically a human. I don't know.

Not really. I had to look it up (yes, you had me googling "goa'uld sex" which came up with some scary stuff). Now that I did, I do recall the business with the Harsesis boy.

I watched the show. I didn't do anything else and I haven't seen the final season nor the made-for-DVD movies.

Oh you lie. I bet you wore the uniform to school But this is a rather theoretical argument don't you think? Although Greeks do look like the offspring of a normal human and a wookie...

I ought to watch that last season of SG-1, watch Atlantis, watch Universe, and watch the movies. I just don't have any interest in sitting still and watching television, though.

Marines on the show wore MARPATs.

And yes, I will be wearing that uniform

elok, I've read science fiction stories were the characters used the engines as a weapon. Also, consider this, we don't as rule jury rig nuclear power engines to be used as weapons.

Question, can a dog and wolf have offspring together?

Dogs and wolves are the same exact species (Canis Lupus). They've only been separated for a measly 15,000 years.

I'm pulling the following out my ass but it makes sense since our species left Africa between 125K and 60K years ago and our average life-span is about 4-5x that of wolves/dogs so it makes sense...

There's probably more genetic difference between a Korean and a Nigerian than between a wolf and a dog. At the very least, the Korean's ancestors were separated from the ancestors of the Nigerian AT LEAST as many generations as dogs are separated from wolves.

I don't think most people realize that Fido is a wolf through and through.

If that's the case and there is some long lost colony scenario it's plausible that we could mate.

They'd have to be our species, though. That means they would have had to go to other planets some time within the past 200,000 years. Any further back and they would not have been the same species.
