I was just surprised, since most Republicans are rather hostile towards his kind.
I don't know about that. All through the 2000-2008 era there were plenty that said Bush was the second coming of Hitler and that the GOP was a bunch of fascists.
I can definitely see though how you would make the natural affiliation of Speer with the Dems, however.

The scary thing is, Michelle Bachmann's beliefs are about 99% in line with my mom's, and thus, the way I was raised.
And you're a ****ing racist.

You still haven't provided me the quote where I said something racist, sir.

Romney couldn't win the GOP nomination even if the second coming of Christ came down from heaven and publicly endorsed him. Romney's one accomplishment is that he instituted health insurance reform which was the prototype for Obama's health insurance regulation reform. It was based on the GOP's 1994 health insurance reform proposal but for the last two years Republicans have spent 24/7 slandering it claiming it was a secret communist plot, no really they actually routinely call it that, and now even Romney has run away from his own accomplishment because something like 70% of GOP primary voters believe it is "unAmerican" and will destroy the country via socialism. Yes, they truly believe that a system of insurance regulations which relay up private health insurance companies (who will take massive profits based on the mandatory buy in rule) is communist in nature. We're dealing with people who are drooling idiots but even they can see Romney's self serving flip flops for what they are so Romney stands no chance.
Romney now leads Obama among registered voters
A new Gallup Poll out this morning finds that President Obama's poll bump from courageously having the Navy SEALs whack Osama bin Laden has evaporated, and Republican former Gov. Mitt Romney is indeed the GOP front-runner ...

15-20% of Republicans support Romney, therefore if someone thinks Romney can't win the nomination they must be lying? You can't possibly be this stupid.

That's a comment on how poor the field is on the Republican side not how good Romney is. Just about all the die hard right wing groups in the Republican base dislike Romney and that's why they're desperately flailing about trying to find someone, anyone, else to run. The base just doesn't like Romney so he can't win. Even if some miracle happens and Romney gets in by default (because everyone sucks worse) he has zero chance in the general because 1) his base isn't enthusiastic about him and 2) he'd have to piss all over his own record as he runs to the extreme right in order to win the primary so he'll have served himself up on a silver plate come the general election. He's a dead duck who can't win.

Welcome to DinoDoc land. In DinoDoc land if someone points out that 80%-85% of the Republican base doesn't like Romney, not just prefers someone else but actively dislikes him, then I'm magically lying if I point out that means Romney can't win.

You do realize that he's oddly enough the frontrunner for the GOP nomination at the moment, right?

Link? Preferably multiple links so that you don't try to sneak an outlier poll. Barring a second economic melt down Obama is a shoe in so it is best to accept reality rather then try to fool yourself that Rasmussen's push polling actually is true.
