        What's Civ?

I haven't played since Civ4 crashed on my old system.

This whole thing is an open-ended experiment; I'll see how well it goes and stay as long as I'm willing and able. The wife is coming along, so it's entirely possible our child will be born in Peru and have dual citizenship. Shelok says I'm not allowed to call her "the unstoppable preggernaut," no matter how big she gets--even after I told her about the cool magic red armor. Alas.

Re: douchebaggery, I don't think it's that I've matured, it's just that you guys are like family to me...in the sense that I can be civil for short visits, but when I'm staying over for an extended period of time, I start with the punching and the wet willies. I suggest a Poly sabbatical for anyone who feels the need to cool down, or just no longer wishes to learn when their online acquaintances have experimented with anal sex. WhyTF did I have to click on that thread?

Anyway, the Andes beckon. Yay. Thanks for all the well-wishing, I'll try to check in. Ridiculous as it is, I think they actually have better internet access in Peru than I have out here on the Eastern Shore...

Be well and Godspeed. I completely understand your reasons for leaving and some of them I've even thought myself.
