          Alby doesn't seem to understand that some people a) have families and b) have friends. Maybe that's why he thinks that wanting a larger house to accommodate those two things is "conspicuous consumption".

                    Bricks are very expensive out here.

                            This raises a good point. Sequester your toilets from your bathrooms. Not only is the bathroom not usable while someone is doing their business, but it could be unusable for some time after too.

                              Agreed--I want the toilet itself to have its own little room (with a fan)
