I saw the interview in question, and it is not clear at all who the "we" is that he's referring to. Might be Bran, might be Meera, might be all of them.

Game of Thrones might not make any movements next season:

In what could be called a spoiler—offering advance knowledge of events that do not take place and characters that do not appear, and the surprise that you may have otherwise felt when things do not happen—Yahoo brings news that the next season of Game Of Thrones will be missing two characters, and one magic word. Kristian Nairn revealed that his current “Rave of Thrones” DJ tour of Australia won’t conflict with shooting on the fifth season, because neither his Hodor nor Hodor’s annoying backpack Bran are in it.

“We have a season off and we have a year’s hiatus, solely because I imagine our storyline is up to the end of the books,” Nairn said, acknowledging how their particular journey has already all but outpaced George R.R. Martin’s writing, leaving them with little to do until Martin spends another month filling a page with the word “Hodor.” Anyway, Nairn is happy about it, saying he gets the year off to DJ and “gallivant all over the world,” and even use complete sentences. And in the meantime, fans who need their Hodor fix need only turn to the Internet when ****’s slow. Somebody’s probably made a video of their dog saying “Hodor” or something.

That's not exactly a surprise. After all she's a fairly important part of the book series at least for one storyline.

I saw it on another forum. Google reverse image search isn't turning up anything yet. I'm guessing it was posted to reddit.

As the series is currently on break and I've read the main books already I have started to read the Dunk & Egg prequal series as it provides a good background and is a fun read in its own right. Sadly, in 16 years Martin has only managed to finish three of the books. Truly the man has so many different projects going on at one time that he never seems to finish any one of them.
